The Boy’s March
£10.50 – £14.00
Description
Fini Henriques (1867 – 1940) was a Danish composer and violinist (taught by Joachim and others). He was essentially a miniaturist, writing mainly for piano and smaller ensembles. This March is an example of one of his more advanced works for piano (he wrote a good deal of easier and intermediate works for the instrument). The March shows an adventurous harmonic outlook, somewhat reminiscent of his good friend and contemporary, Carl Nielsen.
