As a bassoon player, Fredrik fully understands the idiosyncrasies of this instrument, and has created two gems full of the lugubrious character of the instrument. Driving basslines, soaring melodies and some exciting jazzy rhythms make these two pieces essential playing, and a welcome addition to the repertoire.
