Description
The five pieces in this book are designed to be fun to play for both the pianist and the soloist, and to be equally enjoyable for the listener. The music is based on the ‘cool’ style of jazz a la Miles Davis and Bill Evans, but the pieces are original and not improvised. There are optional parts for bass guitar and drums, should an ensemble performance be required for GCSE or AS performances, or just add some colour for a concert item. Enjoy! The ABRSM have set ‘Chillax’ for Grade 5 and ‘Ice Cool’ for Grade 6 Saxophone from 2022.
