“Olga” from “Portraits & Dedications”
This piece (written in 2001) was included in the album “Portraits & Dedications”, created over many years. Although many of the pieces of this cycle are dedicated to specific people both famous and unknown, this composition bearing a female name is more of collective image, filled with expression and passion.
Originally written for clarinet, this new edition with a small cadenza for the saxophone was made in 2013. Duration cca 5’30”
