Description
Little Mars Poems is a work composed as music for a sci-fi setting ballet. It consists of three movements that represent the vision of an ancient colonized Martian valley; the face of an immortal being; and the dance of a group of vestals emerging from the ruins of a temple. The performance involves the use of a brass quintet, three percussionists and a synthesizer or organ. The synth voices indicated are for General Midi instruments, but any similar sounds will be appropriate.
