Hecky Funk

Description
Hecky Funk was written in 2022 for the prestigious Yorkshire Saxophone Choir’s 40th birthday celebrations. It was premiered that year at a concert in Harrogate and contains a few well known Yorkshire tunes including ‘On Ilkley Moor Baht ’At’. This tune was a great family favourite of mine when growing up in Yorkshire.
